Perched on the majestic slopes of Mount Agung at an altitude of 1,000 meters, it has been revered for over 1,000 years as Bali’s ‘Mother Temple’. The complex includes at least 86 temples, with the main temple being Pura Penataran Agung (the Great Temple of State), along with 18 others. With its grand staircases, intricate stone carvings, and spiritual atmosphere, Besakih Temple offers both a cultural and scenic experience in the eastern part of Bali.

Batur Lake
Batur Lake, locally known as Danau Batur, is the largest lake in Bali and one of the island's most iconic natural wonders. Nestled within the caldera of Mount Batur, this crescent-shaped lake is surrounded by majestic volcanic peaks and scenic villages. It lies approximately 1,050 meters above sea level, offering cool mountain air and panoramic views. The lake is not only a vital water source for nearby farmlands, but also a spiritual site for the Balinese people, often visited during traditional ceremonies. Located in the Kintamani region, Batur Lake is a peaceful escape in the heart of Bali's highlands.

Mount Agung
Mount Agung, known locally as Gunung Agung, is the highest and most sacred volcano in Bali, standing majestically at 3,031 meters above sea level. Regarded by the Balinese as the spiritual axis of the island, this active stratovolcano is home to many important rituals and ceremonies. It is also the location of the revered Besakih Temple, Bali’s Mother Temple, situated on its southwestern slope. Adventurous trekkers can climb to the summit for a breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of Bali and neighboring islands. Mount Agung dominates the island’s skyline and symbolizes spiritual balance in Balinese Hindu belief.
